I'm usually up at 2:30 AM working out ideas, thoughts, concepts. Scribbling them out in notebooks, consulting Angels, healing, transforming. If I'm not doing that, I'm likely reading a book or reading internet sites - searching, exploring new things.
And sometimes, I just lay quietly and meditate. Meditation is good.
