Cranberry tea, red and tart, sits there while I work out a thought. Bricks, thoughts, building like ants. Must be careful, attentive to what you are building. Easier still, to just let go, and keep the mind free and open.
Exercise: Flow Writing - Pick a tangible object from your surroundings and use it as the opening image in your entry. Let your mind free-associate from one thought to the next. Write until you have arrived at a place that feels finished. [Life's Companion by Christina Baldwin pg. 24]
